We have taken the decision to suspend the submission queue for a week or two, pending revision of our process etc, and based on feedback from a focus group.
To work on the comics properly takes time, and with the current waiting times, almost every submission (especially in the past few months) has been growing exponentially in size. Although, speeding up at the expense of quality is an option and working well for a lot of others, it isn't an approach we will ever take.
