The first appearance of Swamp thing was handed to us by a regular client, who has given us plenty of pre-code horror comics along with a lot of nice grails over the years.After cleaning off a small amount of dirt and finger oils, we removed some of the deeper creases, softening some of the spine stresses and re-shaping the spine into a more natural condition, before pressing the comic book to remove the other surface imperfections. Unfortunately we cannot do anything about the slight tape/sticker pull by the Thorpe & Porter price stamp, while still maintaining the 'unrestored' status of the comic.
